N.J. Race Car Driver Wins $1.1 Million Race, Biggest Payday in Drag Racing History

MARTIN, MI – New Jersey based race car driver Steve Sisko won the competition of his life this past Fourth of July weekend in Martin, Michigan, home of the U.S. 131 Motorsports Park.  Sisko came home $1,100,000 wealthier after winning the JEGS SFG 2020 Million Race.

“What an event this was! Steve Sisko then went on to win Sunday’s $100,000 race too! This guy seems to be unstoppable,” US 131 Motorsports said.  “Our very own Bill Swain finished in the runner-up position while having two entries in the race, all the way down to ten cars! Lots of skills and thrills. Congratulations to all of the racers and crew who came out to this historic event.”

Sisko, who is 43 years old in a field of younger racers said he barely even races anymore.

“I’m 43 years old and I consider myself one of the old guys now, I barely race anymore,” he said in an interview with Drag Illustrated today.
