Who Needs Ben & Jerry’s When Jersey Has its own “Pork Roll” Ice Cream

Shore News Network

FREDON, NJ – First, let’s not go too hard on our North Jersey neighbors before we start this story, but here it goes.  Windy Brow Farms, located near the Delaware Water Gap has unleashed their Taylor Ham and French Toast flavored ice cream.   If that’s not enough to get you to drop Ben & Jerry’s cold turkey, we’re not sure what is.

Let’s stop right there.

That will be the last time we call it Taylor Ham, only because that’s what it says on the box.  It’s pork roll.

The company is known for its off-the-wall ice cream flavors, but their newest creation is the most Jersey ice cream possible…except maybe after Kohrs’ frozen custard of course.

It’s part of their “Only in Jersey” collection of flavors and they say it’s been a best seller since its invention 2018.

“It’s not as terrible as it sounds…is our general tagline for our Tayham ice cream…it shouldn’t work, but somehow it does,” the company said. “We whipped up a big batch of Tayham pints for today, so, be sure to jump on it before we get sick of making it!”

Other flavors of ice cream include Cubano, Burnt Honey & Pistachio, Honey Lavender, Coconut Blueberry Lime and Black Raspberry Truffle.
