New Jersey Catholic School Teacher Had Sex With Student 60 Times

Camden, N.J. – A high school teacher has been charged for repeatedly sexually assaulting an underage victim that began when the victim was her 17-year-old student, according to Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S. Mayer and Cherry Hill Police Chief William “Bud” Monaghan and Gloucester Township Police Chief David Harkins.

Bridget Sipera, 36, of Cherry Hill, was charged on Aug. 26 in Cherry Hill with one count of second-degree Sexual Assault and one count of second-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child. She was also charged with one count of second-degree Sexual Assault and one count of second-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child for crimes that occurred in Gloucester Township.

Detectives began investigating the reported sexual assault that began in January of 2019 when the victim was a student in Sipera’s class at Camden Catholic High School and continued through March of 2020.


Detectives said Sipera could face more charges.  Sipera was transported to the Camden County Correctional Facility awaiting a Centralized First Appearance.  A probable cause statement against Sipera alleged she had sex with the student 60 times since the affair began.
