Video Shows 4 Gunmen Who Shot and Killed Two at New Brunswick House Party

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ – Eight people were shot after four men pulled up to a house party on Delafield Street in New Brunswick this weekend and began shooting into the crowd.  Two people were killed and six wounded.  The gunmen emerged from a dark sedan and started shooting at the partygoers, then returned to their car and sped away.  Police are still looking for the suspects.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ – Early Sunday morning eight people were shot and two victims died from their wounds in a shooting on Delafield Street.   The shooting happened in an area where off-campus housing is popular, but the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office said the shooting victims were not affiliated with the university.


The New Brunswick Police Department and MCPO continue to investigate the double homicide which was reported to have occurred at 32 Delafield Street within the City of New Brunswick. This incident is reported to have occurred at approximately 1:30 AM on Sunday, September 13, 2020.

“In this incident, it is reported that an unknown perpetrator(s) fired several shots from a weapon striking individuals who were present. Those injured were transported to an area hospital and injuries are reported to be serious,” police said. “Information as to the description(s) of the perpetrator(s) is limited at this time and the investigation is active and ongoing.”

The New Brunswick Police Department is actively investigating this incident and asks that anyone with information, or who may have been in the area at the time, contact the NBPD’s Detective Bureau at 732-745-5217.

The shooting comes one week after two men were shot elsewhere in the city.

On September, 3rd, two New Brunswick men, ages 27 and 31, were taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, one is listed in stable condition and the other in critical condition.   New Brunswick Police responded to the vicinity of Lee Avenue and Seaman Street in New Brunswick on September 2, 2020 at approximately 9:28 pm and found the two men suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. They were taken to the hospital to be treated for their injuries.
