WASHINGTON, D.C. – Chuck Schumer and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez today called once again for an impeachment process against President Donald J. Trump.  This time, to block Trump’s appointment of a Supreme Court Justice to replace the now-deceased Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

“All options need to be on the table,” said Democrat political Warhawk Cortez.  In 2016, Schumer sang a different tune when it was President Barack Obama’s turn to appoint a replacement before his election.

“Every day that goes by without a ninth justice is another day the American people’s business is not getting done,” Schumer said in 2016.

Today, Schumer called out Trump for questioning Ginsburg’s deathbed wish for the President to not nominate her replacement.

“Just when you think Trump can’t get any lower, he burrows deeper into the cesspool of callous classlessness. Democrats are united in fighting to honor Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s last wish: My most fervent wish is that I will not be replaced until a new president is installed,” Schumer said. “Dems are united in fighting to honor RBG’s last wish and all that’s at stake for health care and Americans’ rights.”
