With Huge Election Problems Looming, GOP Chairman Leaves to Kill Horny Deer in Kansas

7 mins read

TOMS RIVER, NJ – Hunting the rut.  It’s the best time of the year to catch a big game whitetail deer stag that you can brag to friends about all year long at political campaign dinners.  It’s when the male deer population are so focused on mating with females that they let their guard down and present an easier shot to the hunter.  According to Wikipedia, “The rut is the time when white-tail deer, especially bucks, are more active and less cautious than usual. This makes it easier to hunt, as well as more susceptible to being hit by motor vehicles. The buck has one thing on his mind at this time of the year: to find as many does as he can.”

Rut season starts about this time each year and ends in November.  It’s a time that draws men like Ocean County GOP Chairman Frank Holman into the woods near and far.  An avid outdoorsman and hunter, Holman is also the Chairman of the Ocean County Republican Party and the Chairman of the Ocean County Board of Elections.  With one of the most contentious elections in American history looming, Holman is now working as the Chairman of the Kansas Board of Erections while he sits out his own local election to hunt deer out west.

Many within the party have criticized Holman, who leaves New Jersey for weeks at a time to hunt in Kansas usually at times when his party needs him, elections, club takeovers, etc.  Many party leaders have called him the absent chairman and have said they will vote him out of office in 2022.  Holman though brags incessantly about the firm grip he holds on the Ocean County GOP.  In Jackson, his team is running unopposed.  At the county level, he has hung his Davy Crockett hat on Freeholder Joe Vicari and Ocean County Clerk as automatic wins.

“We are strong,” Holman said at a recent fundraiser. “Nobody is opposing us in Jackson and that’s because of the good job we’re doing there.”

Let’s face it.  Jackson is about 50% Republican voters and was by default one of the top 5 “Trumpiest” towns in New Jersey in 2017.  Three blind men can run for office in Jackson as Republicans and win the election by default.  It’s why Democrats don’t even bother anymore and why this is the second uncontested election in the past four years.

Holman is missing the bigger picture.  While he’s out shooting at horny stags in a deer stand in Kansas, his party is literally falling apart in front of him.  One elected official told us recently that Holman is Nero, playing his fiddle in some remote wilderness in the Midwest while everything crumbles around him.  His party is split.  His agents, Mo Hill and Greg McGuckin can’t even successfully take over the Toms River Republican Club, but for Holman and his crew, it’s not about politics.

It’s not about helping Republican Congressman David Richter defeat Andy Kim…and with his choice of Rik Mehta for U.S. Senate, it’s definitely not about defeating Cory Booker.  No, you see, for Holman and his top enforcers this is all about money…and controlling that money.    A win in Jackson is all Holman cares about this year, because it secures a portion of his $6,000,000 annual take and also protects his enforcer, Greg McGuckin.  McGuckin is expected to take in nearly $300,000 this year alone in Jackson.   It’s also for all of the other professionals under Holman’s charge who earn a combined $4,000,000 annually in public service contracts in Jackson.

So while Holman can rest his raccoon tail hat on a win in Jackson, Ocean County could be poised to lose two congressional elections and a senate election.  Holman doesn’t care, because there’s no money for him in the Senate or in Congress.  Holman, whose firm often donates to Democrats just to get a public service contract has no interest in putting forth any effort to help Richter win.  In fact, he has essentially shunned Richter and sources say he’s quietly hoping for a Richter loss to show that he’s the boss in Ocean County.

Let’s not forget that Holman hired himself to be the Chairman of the Ocean County Board of Elections last year.  As mail-in ballots are coming in, Holman can play an active role in ensuring that the Murphy election is free of election fraud, but that’s hard to do while you’re sitting in the woods for the week or weeks leading up to the election waiting for a careless horny buck to walk out in front of you.

While Jackson, Joe Vicari, Chris Smith and Scott Colabella are safe, David Richter, Rik Mehta and Jeff Van Drew are not. What the Republican Party in Ocean County needs again is leadership by example, not a public contract whore who is more concerned about his own bottom line than the future of America, because Holman can deliver President Trump two seats in Congress that the party doesn’t have now, but he doesn’t care about that.  He cares about his $6,000,000 in public contracts and nothing more.
