INVERNESS, FL – On Tuesday, in Inverness, Citrus County Sheriff’s Department deputies spotted a goat “hoofing” it down Highland Blvd. behind Citrus Highschool.  Police realized it was one of two goats that were on the lam from their home.

“Our deputies and Animal Control Officers are the Greatest Of All Time, managing to get the Silly Billy into a patrol car, but his girlfriend is still on the loose,” the department said. “This brown and white nervous nanny was last seen on South Apopka between Hill St. and Relief St. If you see her, please call the CCSO non-emergency line at (352) 726-1121 and ask for Animal Control.”
