Dustin Ellsworth Wanted for Menacing Residents with Shotgun in Dover

Dover, DE – Delaware State Police are attempting to locate 36-year-old Dustin L. Ellsworth of Dover on felony weapon charges.

On October 15, 2020, at approximately 9:46 p.m., Delaware State Police responded to a residence on Steel Road, Dover, for a reported disorderly subject. Through their investigation, troopers determined Dustin confronted individuals in a vehicle parked outside the home with a Remington 12 gauge shotgun. Dustin cycled a round in the weapon and shouted, “you scared now” at the car before it fled the area. Before troopers arrived on the scene, Dustin also fled the area in an unknown direction.

Dustin is wanted on the following charges:


  • Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony (felony)
  • Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited (felony)
  • Possession of Ammunition by a Person Prohibited (felony)
