Delaware Police Searching for Armed and Dangerous Man Who Shot Woman Tuesday Morning

LAUREL, DE – On October 20th, 2020 at approximately 0050 hours Laurel Police and Delaware State Police officers were dispatched to Little Creek Apartment Complex in reference to a shooting complaint. Upon their arrival officers made contact with a female victim with an apparent gunshot wound. Officers on scene provided first aide to the victim until EMS arrived on scene. The victim was ultimately transported to Nanticoke Memorial Hospital to be treated for her injuries.
Facts of the investigation have determined the suspect to be, 34 year old, Otis Williams of Lincoln. At the time of the officers arrival Williams had fled the scene and is still at large. Williams is actively wanted on felony charges related to this investigation. Williams is considered armed and extremely dangerous. Anyone with information related to this incident or the whereabouts of Otis Williams is urged to call 911 for emergency police assistance.
