Sheriffs Department Arrests Two At Jefferson Motel for Drug Distribution

Warrenton, VA – On October 28, deputies assigned to the Patrol Division, Civil Process Court Security Division and detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division collaborated on an interdiction operation that produced significant results. During this operation, deputies made multiple narcotics arrests, issued criminal and traffic summons, served warrants, made felony and misdemeanor arrests, and seized U.S. currency. These proactive efforts led deputies to obtain a search warrant for a room at the Jefferson Motel. Gary Washington, 30, of Warrenton, was arrested and charged with Distribution, Possession with the intent to Distribute Fentanyl; and Madison Tunell, 20, of Warrenton, was charged with Possession of Fentanyl. Both were held at the Fauquier County Adult Detention Center pending a bond hearing.
