U.S. Marshals Capture Memphis Halloween Night Double Murder Suspect Jeffrey Walker

Memphis, TN – U.S. Marshal Tyreece Miller announces arrest of alleged double murder suspect Jeffrey Walker, of Memphis.

On Halloween night, there was a shooting at a residential party at the 200 block of Vault Circle in Southaven, MS. Two people were killed and a third was wounded. Desoto County issued an arrest warrant for Jeffrey Walker for these crimes.

The U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Southaven PD developed intelligence that the fugitive was at an apartment at the 6800 block of Club Ridge Circle in Memphis.


The Task Force and the Memphis Multi-Agency Gang Unit went to the address and took Walker into custody without incident.

“The Marshals Service is ready, 24/7, to assist the community by arresting violent fugitives,” said U.S. Marshal Tyreece Miller.

The Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force (GCRFTF) has offices in Tennessee, Mississippi and Alabama. The West Tennessee office consists of Deputy U.S. Marshals, Investigators with the Jackson Police Department, Agents with the Tennessee Department of Correction, Investigators with the Memphis Police Department, the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office and the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office.
