ATLANTA, GEORGIA – President Donald J. Trump’s legal team won a major victory today in the state of Georgia as the Secretary of State here has announced a full recount of the 2020 election…by hand.

State law has a provision that could allow for a machine recount, but that’s not going to happen.

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said today 14,101 votes stand between President Donald J. Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden as 97 counties have reported their results to the state.  Raffensperger said his office is taking reports of voter fraud seriously, including dead voting, felon voting, double voting and out-of-state voting.

“We will continue to enforce the law until every legal vote is counted,” Raffensperger said.

Raffensperger said with that margin being so small, a hand recount will take place in the Presidential election.

“We will work with the counties to get this done in time for our state certification,” he added. “Many of these workers will be working plenty of overtime. We have all worked hard to make sure fair and accurate counting and the will of the voter will reflect in the final count and the voters will have confidence in the process whether their candidate won or lost.”
