Baltimore Man Arrested for October Execution Style Murder

BALTIMORE, MD – On November 17, 2020, at approximately 2:50 a.m., SWAT officers executed a search and seizure warrant in the 3000 block of Arunah Avenue. Inside of the location, officers located the target, 27 year-old Bernard Davenport of Baltimore. Davenport was wanted for the homicide that occurred on October 2, 2020, in the 800 block of North Franklintown Road. Detectives transported Bernard Davenport to Central Booking Intake Facility where he has been charged with 1st degree murder.
On October 1, 2020, at approximately 6:04 p.m., Western District patrol officers responded to the 800 block of North Franklintown Road for a report of a shooting.  Once at the location, officers located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he later died on October 2, 2020. Anyone with information is asked to contact detectives at 410-396-2100 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7Lockup.
