Baltimore Woman Charged for Murder of Teenager

BALTIMORE, MD – Police have arrested a 19-year-old woman for the shooting of a 23-year old man in Baltimore.

In reference to the shooting that occurred on October 13, 2020, in the 600 block of North Ellwood Avenue, officers have arrested 19-year-old Yonah White of Baltimore.
White was arrested in connection with the shooting death of 19-year-old Deon Brown and the non-fatal shooting of a 23-year-old man.
Detectives transported Yonah White to Central Booking Intak
e Facility where she has been charged with 1st-degree murder and attempted 1st-degree murder.
Southeast District Homicide Investigation
On October 13, 2020, at approximately 10:42 p.m., Southeast District patrol officers responded to the 600 block of North Ellwood Avenue for a report of a shooting.
Once at the location, officers located 19-year-old Deon Brown (B/M), suffering from a gunshot wound to the head, and a 23-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the arm.
Both victims were transported to an area hospital for treatment. On October 15, 2020, 19-year-old Deon Brown died from his injuries.
