MANAHAWKIN,  NJ –  When 96-year-old Virginia, a resident of Stafford Township had a late-night issue with her refrigerator days before Thanksgiving, she called the Stafford Police Department.  Instead of referring her to a local appliance repair, police actually showed up at her home to help her.

We love seeing our officers go the extra mile for our community,” the department said of the event.  “This is what the holiday season is all about.”
