Jackson home ransacked by burglars

JACKSON, NJ – On Friday, Jackson police officers responded to a residence located on Beverly Court on the report of a burglary. The officers discovered that entry had been made at the rear of the residence and the master bedroom had been ransacked. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact police headquarters at 732-928-1111 or through the department’s Stop It app.

Also on Friday, police Officer Michael Cocchiara conducted a motor vehicle stop with a 2019 GMC on South New Prospect Road for motor vehicle violations. The stop and investigation resulted in the arrest of the 57 year old male driver who was charged with reckless driving, driving while intoxicated and failure to signal. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.
