ARLINGTON, TX  – Arlington police officers responded to a theft of a Salvation Army red kettle at the Walmart on S. Cooper earlier this week. The suspect fled with the bucket and a backpack belonging to the worker while brandishing a knife towards a security guard.

“This grinch didn’t get away… officers caught him while he was running with the loot in the nearby Home Depot parking lot,” the department said. “The kettle and backpack were recovered!
Bad guy was arrested and charged with Aggravated Robbery!”

Police did not release the name of the suspect.
