Anonymous tip leads deputies to CVS robbery suspect

HERNANDO COUNTY, FL – On Friday, detectives with the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence located at 6198 Applegate Drive in reference to apprehending a suspect in the recent robbery of a CVS store located at 2077 Commercial Way.  An anonymous tip helped lead to the suspect’s arrest. The suspect arrested was Sven Struble W/M DOB/05-25-1977. Struble was arrested without incident at his Spring Hill home. The suspect confessed to committing the CVS robbery and the robbery of a Walgreens in Pasco County.
Struble is being charged with crimes related to the Hernando County robbery. The Pasco Sheriff’s Office will also be pursuing charges in its robbery investigation.

On December 1st,  at approximately 8:40 p.m., a white male entered the CVS store located at 2077 Commercial Way in Spring Hill and walked towards the pharmacy. The male (suspect) handed a note to the pharmacy staff; the note advised he was robbing the store and demanded medication. The male implied he had a weapon.
It is believed the suspect fled the area in an unknown vehicle.
