Stockton boy shot dead in car waiting at Burger King Drive Through

STOCKTON, CA –  A 15-year-0ld boy has been shot and killed in Stockton while he waited inside his car with his mother at the Burger King drive-through window.   Police believe it was a random shooting and at this point, there are no suspects in this case.

On Friday at around 3:50 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 700 block of N. Wilson Way. What we have learned so far during this investigation is that a mother and her 15-year-old son where inside a vehicle in the Burger King Drive Thru. A suspect approached the passenger side of the vehicle and fired multiple shots inside the vehicle striking the 15-year-old. The 15-year-old was transported to an area hospital where sadly he died from his injuries. At this time, detectives believe this was not a random shooting and they still have no motive or any releasable suspect information.
