Motorcyclist who struck and killed child in Port Richey, fled scene

PORT RICHEY, FL – A man driving a Kawasaki Ninja 400 sped through the Regency Park neighborhood of Port Richey on Saturday striking and killing a child.  Afterward, the ride fled the scene and police are now looking for that drive, wanted for the death of a child and leaving the scene.

On Saturday night at approximately 9:23 p.m., a suspect on a motorcycle struck and killed a child at Regency Park Blvd. and King Arthur Dr., Port Richey. The suspect then fled. Pasco Sheriff’s deputies assisted the Florida Highway Patrol in the search for the suspect but ultimately, he was not located.

The suspect was described as a white male operating an orange and black in color motorcycle. Evidence recovered at the crash scene indicates the suspect vehicle to be a 2018-2020 model Kawasaki Ninja 400.
