Fugitive couple wanted for armed robbery caught in Florida

MARTIN COUNTY, FL – A fugitive couple on the run from California was found and arrested Tuesday in Florida.
“It’s a long way from home, but 41-year old Francisco Silba and 36-year old Joanna Pulido will soon be headed back to Solano County California, where they are wanted by law enforcement for robbing a man at knifepoint. The robbery occurred in 2018. The victim was leaving an ATM machine when he was robbed,” the Martin County Sheriff’s Office said. “According to reports, Silba pulled a knife on the victim and robbed him while Pulido stood by as a lookout. They were initially arrested and charged but released on bond. The couple absconded from California and have been on the run.”
Last night, MCSO responded to a gas station for a disturbance call involving the pair. That’s when deputies discovered that they were fugitives. Deputies also found an array of credit cards, wallets and passport that the couple had in their possession. Both were taken into custody. Joanna Pulido and Francisco Silba will be extradited back to California to face their charges.
