Two Weeki Wachee Meth Dealers Arrested

WEEKI WACHEE, FL – Two meth dealers pushing their drugs in Hernando County have been arrested, deputies reported today. On 12-13-2020 at 12:10 a.m., Hernando County Sheriff’s deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the driver of a vehicle in the area of Cortez Boulevard and Delvin Street in Weeki Wachee. Upon seeing law enforcement, the driver fled a short distance before pulling the vehicle into a driveway and attempting to flee on foot.

The driver was later identified as Bobby Eugene Hunt Jr. W/M DOB/03-04-1985.

Hunt was immediately detained. A passenger in the vehicle, Rebecca Brush W/F DOB/11-08-1984, was also detained at the scene.


When deputies conducted a search of the suspects’ vehicle, they located 268.5 grams of methamphetamine, marijuana, hashish, paraphernalia, and more than $5,000 in cash.

Both suspects were transported to the Hernando County Detention Center. Hunt faces charges of Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Paraphernalia, and Knowingly Driving while License is Suspended.
His bond was set at $117,500.

Brush was charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell, Possession of Hashish – two counts, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Paraphernalia.

Her bond was set at $121,000.
