Memphis woman assaulted by man fleeing in Jaguar after she refused his small talk, advances

MEMPHIS, TN – A woman checking out with some roses at the Winchester Kroger’s Pharmacy in Memphis wasn’t interested in any advances or small talk from the man pictured in the photo above and he didn’t take it well.

According to Memphis Police, on December 12, 2020, at approximately 3:10 pm, officers responded to an assault at 7942 Winchester. The victim was at a self-checkout buying roses when the male suspect approached her to start a dialog. The victim advised the suspect that she was not interested in having a conversation. The suspect began cursing the victim, punched the victim in the face, and then ripped her “Covid19 mask” off her face.

The suspect left the business and fled the scene in a blue Jaguar sedan. The images are of the suspect.


No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
