Joe Biden’s new Deputy Chief of Staff says Republicans are “a bunch of F*ckers”

WILMINGTON, DE – Jen O’Malley Dillon will be President-Elect Joe Biden’s Deputy Chief of Staff when he takes office, but despite his campaign platform of bringing unity to America, she still thinks Republicans are just a bunch of “fuckers”.  That’s exactly what she said in an interview this week with Glamour Magazine.

Now here’s where Facebook fact checkers and Snopes are going to say, wait a minute, that’s taken out of context, 5 demerits for you.

Here’s what she said in the interview, verbatim.

“The president-elect was able to connect with people over this sense of unity. In the primary, people would mock him, like, “You think you can work with Republicans?” I’m not saying they’re not a bunch of fuckers. Mitch McConnell is terrible,” O’Malley Dillon said. “But this sense that you couldn’t wish for that, you couldn’t wish for this bipartisan ideal? He rejected that. From start to finish, he set out with this idea that unity was possible, that together we are stronger, that we, as a country, need healing, and our politics needs that too.”

On Thursday, Biden’s deputy chief of staff began to back peddle, or as they say in D.C., walking back her comments.

“I used some words that I probably could have chosen better,” she said.

In true Democrat style, she justified her error then doubled down and said her words are critically important.

“The point that I was really making is an incredibly important point,” she said.  “And that really is about the president-elect and why he was supported by over 81 million people, and what they were looking for.”
