Two dead in crash on Christmas Day in Voorhees

VORHEES, NJ –  Two drivers were killed in a crash on Centennial Boulevard in Vorhees on Christmas Day.  According to the Vorhees Police Department, at approximately 1:21p.m., Voorhees Police Units were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash on Centennial Boulevard.

According to the department’s initial investigation at the scene. a 2021 Volvo XC70, operated solely by a Cheltenham, Pennsylvania resident, Larry A. Shaw age 68, who was traveling Eastbound on Centennial Boulevard, when it struck a 2016 Honda CRV operated solely by a Berlin, New Jersey resident, Carol C. Marks age 84, who was traveling Westbound on Centennial Boulevard.

Voorhees Police responded to the scene immediately and were informed by Emergency Medical Personnel that Shaw had succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Marks was airlifted to Cooper Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries and pronounced dead by medical personnel.
