Deputies searching for missing teen from DeBary

DeBary, FL – The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s assistance to help find a missing 17-year-old DeBary girl who has possibly run away from home.  Emily Gustafsson of North Pine Meadow Drive left her home early Tuesday, then walked to the Walmart Neighborhood  Market at 185 N. Charles R. Beall Blvd., where she was picked up by a LYFT driver for an unknown destination.  Surveillance video shows the LYFT vehicle picking up Emily at the front entrance of Walmart — see photo below. Emily does not have her cell phone with her. She is described as wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants, and possibly black hair as well. Anyone who has seen Emily is urged to call 911 or contact Detective Martir at (386) 248-1777 or via email at jmartir@vcso.us .
