Three deputies shot at Houston Night Club

HOUSTON, TX – Three off-duty Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies were shot at a Houston night club Saturday night at the Set night club. Those deputies were working as security officers for the establishment.   Houston police officers responded to the incident.  Houston Police Department Deputy Chief Troy Finner said a fight broke out after the club had closed and deputies tried to break up the fight.  One of the suspects began shooting at the officers.   Three were struck and wounded.  A forty-year-old woman was shot and killed in the shooting.  Two were transported to Herman Hospital and one sent to Ben Taub hospital.  The suspect who was also shot, was taken into custody at Sugarland Hospital after he attempted to be treated for injuries.  One deputy was a woman and the other two were men.
