Former N.J. Governor Whitman Calls for Immediate Removal of President Trump

SWAMPLAND, NJ – From the depths of the Trenton Swamp, former New Jersey Governor Christine Todd Whitman today called upon Vice President Mike Pence to invoked the 25th amendment to remove President Donald J. Trump.  Whitman a Trump hater by trade during the past four years of the former reality television star and real estate mogul’s presidency also blamed the President for today’s protest at the U.S. Capitol Building, which culminated in law enforcement officials killing an unarmed woman.

By rights, [Vice President Pence] should call for the 25th amendment removal of [President Trump] but it’s not worth the effort on this man,” Whitman said.  “Should GOP representatives continue with this effort to undermine the vote, they should be shamed.”

Christie’s message to the President today is, “Joe Biden won, it’s time to move on.”

“The election is over, and it has been for a while now. But you wouldn’t know it from the chatter in some corners of social media – or from the Twitter feed of the person with the largest platform on the planet. There’s a vast campaign, led by the current commander in chief, to sow doubt about the results,” the former head of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency said. “There’s a push to undermine the integrity of our votes simply because a few folks at the White House don’t like what the voters said and a few folks in Congress are willing to play along at the expense of the American people and our democracy writ-large.”

Whitman, who served as Governor of New Jersey is most well known for her blunder to send rescue workers back into the debris pile at New York’s 9-11 terrorist attack at the World Trade Center.  Christie, then head of the EPA claimed the air quality was clean for workers.  Over the next 19 years, hundreds have died and thousands have been sickened by agents in the air during the recovery effort.

“Frankly, there is just no reality in which the type of fraud alleged by Trump and many of his supporters could have happened. Our elections aren’t perfect, but they are pretty damn good at ensuring one American, one vote. The courts affirmed this roughly 60 times, too. End of story,” Whitman said.

Whitman said no matter what Trump does, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will be sworn into office on January 20th.

“Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will be sworn into office on Jan 20th. Trump has not destroyed our democracy, but he has planted the seeds for its demise,” she said. “Our country is best served with two major parties, not a plethora of splinter groups. Unfortunately, we no longer have two major parties. We have the DemocraticParty, the splinter TrumpParty & the leftover RepublicanParty. Eventually only one party will dominate, and that will be the end of our democracy as we know it.”
