MARION COUNTY, SC – A Marion County Deputy has been killed in the line of duty after being involved in a motor vehicle crash, the department said this morning.
“The Marion County Sheriff’s Office regrets to inform you that Deputy Johnathan David Price, 29, has been killed in the line of duty following a motor vehicle crash. Deputy Price has served the Marion County Sheriff’s Office since September 2020, and had previously served with the City of Dillon Police Department. Deputy Price leaves behind a loving wife, and three small children. We ask you to keep all of us along with David’s family in your thoughts and prayers in the days to come,” the department said.
