NJ Congressman Andy Kim: Remove President Trump from Office Immediately

TOMS RIVER, NJ – New Jersey Congressman Andy Kim, the former socialist revolutionary who once called for residents in America to “rise stronger” to revolt and overthrow the administration of President Donald J. Trump says the President needs to be removed from office, immediately.

“Our democracy is fragile, and yesterday it was brought to the brink. We cannot allow that to happen again. The only way to ensure the protection of our democracy is to remove President Trump from office immediately,” Kim said of the January 6th uprising at the U.S Capitol building.

Kim once ran the left-wing revolutionary group “Rise Stronger“, which called for the removal of the U.S. government under President Donald J. Trump.  When his 2018 campaign opponent Tom MacArthur called him out on it, Kim shut down the group’s website.  He also shut down the group’s Facebook and Twitter pages. Kim worked feverishly to remove all traces of Rise Stronger after learning his opponent was going to use it to discredit him in his ongoing political campaign.

That group promoted radical left-wing leaders and ideology. The group called for a “United States of Resistance” and called for radicals to rise up against Donald Trump and the Republican Party.  Kim has since flushed the internet of all traces of his former radical socialist revolutionary group, including Google Drive accounts, web accounts, Twitter and Facebook accounts, but much of his propaganda is still available on the Way Back Machine, an internet archive.

Kim’s Rise Stronger organization came under fire for promoting a book by terrorist Bill Ayers who once bombed the Pentagon.  Kim blamed one of his organization’s volunteers for that.  The organization’s website featured a prominent section called “The Library of Resistance“, which is still active on Goodreads.com.

“Yes, people there posted different things and a volunteer posted a link to a book list,” Kim said in an Asbury Park Press interview, defending the organization he once ran.

Kim’s goal for the page was to unite left-wing radical groups across the nation in one place so they can work together to collaborate, share ideas, and promote radical protests and rallies across America.

The group was formed by members of President Barack Obama’s former appointees, Kim sad.

“In the days following the 2016 presidential election, [as a] former White House Director for Iraq at the National Security Council, gathered several hundred people to a meeting in Washington, D.C. to lay out a vision for a new wave of citizen engagement in this uncertain and tumultuous political landscape in America. That meeting launched RISE Stronger, which has since grown to become a citizen watchdog organization of nearly 30,000 members across the country who are ready to ensure elected officials and government are both responsible and accountable to the people,” Kim said.

The organization was created for former Obama era insiders to retake Washington, D.C., and America in the wake of their defeat against Trump. Kim explained how Rise Stronger began.

“In that first meeting, people said they felt paralyzed — unable to think about how to move beyond the uncertainty, disappointment, and fear. Participants struggled to think of actions that regular citizens could take beyond voting, calling their representative, and donating money to a cause,” Kim said. “Dissatisfied with these limited options, RISE Stronger emerged to reinvigorate what it means to be a citizen and to empower Americans across the country to find new ways to engage in the American democracy.”

In essence, Kim said Rise Stronger was a collection of former Obama era White House officials and their alliance to work together to retake the U.S. capital.

“The goal of RISE Stronger is simple: capture the political energy of Americans, sustain it, and focus it towards action that will ensure that the government and its leaders are accountable to its citizens, transparent in their actions and policies, and guided solely by the interests and values of the American people,” Kim said at the time. “Keeping grassroots activism at the heart of its work, RISE Stronger draws from a vast network of former White House and government officials and other policy experts to inform and augment the work of its members throughout the country. A network of local and state chapters, and an active online hub will serve as an incubator to new ideas and initiatives that propel forward the work of members and increase the engagement of Americans.”

Kim is coming off a decisive victory in his congressional district which consists of portions of Burlington and Ocean Counties.  He defeated his opponent David Richter after Ocean County GOP Chairman Frank Holman, who also criticized the President earlier this week withdrew support for Richter after learning Richter was being helped by former GOP Chairman George Gilmore.
