WASHINGTON, D.C. – New Jersey Democrat Mikie Sherrill said her fellow members of Congress worked with U.S. Capitol rioters she called domestic terrorists, aided those terrorists.  She said there is now a firm line between Democrats and Republicans and she will maintain that line to preserve Democracy.  Sherrill claims Republican members of Congress gave the incursionists tours of the Capitol building on January 5th, to help them plan attack.  Now she is calling for those alleged members to be punished, although she did not mention any by name.

Neither the U.S. Capitol Police or the FBI have issued any statements to give credit to Sherrill’s allegations.  When asked to elaborate on her claim, she refused to provide the public or the media with further evidence of her claim.

“We can’t have a democracy if members of Congress are actively helping the President overturn the election,” she said.

So far, no other members of Congress have corroborated Sherrill’s claim.

“I also intend to see that those members of Congress who abetted him, those members of Congress who had groups coming through the Capitol that I saw on January 5th in reconnaissance for the next day,” Sherrill said. “Those members of Congress that incited this violent crowd, those members of Congress that attempted to help our president undermine our democracy. I’m going to say that they’re held accountable, and if necessary, ensure that they don’t serve in Congress.”
