Lacey resident discovers his delivery truck exhaust system was stolen

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ – A Lacey Township business owner got in his delivery truck only to find out something wasn’t right.  It turns out while the truck was parked, his entire exhaust system was stolen, including the catalytic converter.

On Thursday, January 14, 2021, at 8:35 a.m., Officer Andrew Slota responded to Sunrise Plaza for damage to a vehicle. The victim reported that during an unknown time, unknown suspects removed the exhaust system, including the catalytic converter, from his delivery truck that was parked in the lot. The damage is estimated at $1,500.
