New Jersey man who gave news interview after “Storming the Capitol” Arrested

EWING, NJ – Thomas Baranyi, of Ewing Township was arrested on Tuesday for his role in “storming the U.S. Capitol” last Tuesday.  Baranyi made international headlines after giving the first on the ground news interview from inside the U.S. Capitol building.  Baranyi said he was standing next to slain U.S. Airforce veteran Ashli Babbitt, of California.  He was ordered Tuesday to show up in court on January 18th, surrender his passport and to not leave the state.  The judge also ordered Baranyi not to possess any firearms.
