Man dead, woman shot in early morning shooting in Racine

RACINE, WI – On Friday at 5:30 am. the Racine Police Department responded to an apartment in the 800blk of College Ave. reference a person shot. Upon arrival officers located an adult female inside suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. Officers also discovered an adult male deceased inside the apartment from an apparent gunshot wound. The female was transported to Ascension and later Froedtert Hospital in serious condition. The adult male was declared deceased at the hospital. Updates to follow.
