WASHINGTON, DC – Ahead of the January 20th inauguration of Joe Biden, government agencies are ramping up their security intelligence operations against American citizens. The Transportation Security Administration this week confirmed they are creating a no-fly blacklist to prohibit certain members of the public from taking flights to Washington, D.C. if they are deemed a threat.
“Currently, TSA is processing hundreds of names with law enforcement agencies for a thorough risk assessment,” TSA Administrator David Pekoske said. “Our intelligence and vetting professionals are working diligently around the clock to ensure those who may pose a threat to our aviation sector undergo enhanced screening or are prevented from boarding an aircraft.”
“Leading up to, during, and following the 2021 Inaugural events, TSA has an all-hands approach to secure our nation’s transportation networks including air, surface, rail, commuter trains, and transit hubs,” he added.
The TSA did not say what the criteria is to be on that inauguration no-fly list.
