170 bags of heroin seized by Police during Atlantic City traffic stop

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – On January 19, 2021, a motor vehicle stop resulted in the arrest of one man in possession of distribution amounts of narcotics. At 6:21 pm, Officer Kevin Perez conducted a motor vehicle stop at Indiana and Huron Avenues after observing a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed through a residential neighborhood. During the stop, Officer Perez arrested a passenger, Dwahn Davis, after he was found in possession of narcotics. Davis possessed 170 bags of heroin, more than 11 grams of cocaine, four grams of marijuana, and a digital scale used to distribute narcotics.

The driver, Jesse Osborne III, was released with multiple traffic summons.

ARRESTED: Dwahn Davis, 35, of Atlantic City.


CHARGES: Possession of CDS (three counts), possession with intent to distribute CDS (two counts), possession with intent to distribute CDS within 1,000 feet of a school zone (two counts), and possession of narcotic paraphernalia.

Davis was released on a summons with a future court date. Charges are mere accusations, and the accused are considered innocent until proven guilty.
