Biden’s White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki First Federal Employee to Violate New Mandatory Mask Wearing Executive Order

WASHINGTON, DC –  President Joe Biden today signed into law an executive order directing all federal employees working in federal buildings nationwide to wear facemasks at all times while working.  Moments later, the new White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki was the first Biden official to break that executive order while giving her first public press conference.  Biden’s federal worker mask mandate.  To protect the Federal workforce and individuals interacting with the Federal workforce and individuals interacting with the Federal workforce, and to ensure the continuity of Government services and activities, on-duty or on-site Federal employees, on-site Federal contractors, and other individuals in Federal buildings and on Federal lands should all wear masks, maintain physical distance, and adhere to other public health measures, as provided in CDC guidelines.
