New Jersey School Teacher Commits Suicide Inside High School

POMPTON LAKES, NJ – The New York Post reported that Pompton Lakes High School teacher Patrick Moccia, 47, of Doylestown, PA committed suicide on school property.  Moccia worked as a technology education teacher in the school. He was found dead inside the school around 9 pm Saturday after police showed up at the school to perform a welfare check when he did not return home. The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office believes the cause of death to be a self-inflicted suicide.
