Police suspect domestic dispute led to shooting in Beaumont

Ryan Dickinson

BEAUMONT, CA – On Monday, February 1, 2021, at approximately 6:11 p.m. dispatch received several 911 calls reporting gunshots heard in the area of Littler Lane and Devlin Drive. Officers arrived on scene and were met by several neighbors who directed officers to a vehicle parked on the street that had several bullet holes. The vehicle was unoccupied at the time of the shooting, as was the home the vehicle was parked in front of. Witnesses in the area were unable to provide a vehicle or suspect description. No injuries were reported and investigators have reason to believe the shooting was not random and may have been the result of a domestic dispute.
