TOMS RIVER, NJ – It’s been a hard sell to operate a business at the corner of Hooper Avenue and Fischer Boulevard in Toms River, but if you’re interested in giving it a shot, $6,000,000 can be the first step toward the next best thing in Toms River.  The lot at the corner of Hooper Avenue sits between the old Biamonte’s Restaurant lot and the old go-kart and arcade site.  It has been for sale for quite some time.

The corner lot is roughly 1 acre in size and is listed at $5,950,000 by Keller Williams.  It includes 692 feet frontage on Fischer Boulevard and 588 feet of frontage on Hooper Avenue.  The lot sits between Ocean County College and Silverton and is a prime access route between Silverton and the barrier island.

The lot has been vacant for years as has the adjacent home of the former Baimonte’s Pizza King, which later became a Boston’s restaurant that also didn’t make it.

The property is one of the most prominent vacant lots made more famous by the former restaurant on the adjacent lot.

Baimonte’s Pizza opened was built in 1970 by Tony Baimonte and operated for more than 30 years, become a township landmark.  At one point, there was a BMX track, arcade and go-kart track on the site.

Biamonte passed away in 2015 at the age of 78.
