FRESNO, CA –  Two Fresno women have been charged for ongoing sexual abuse of a 12-year-old girl. The heinous act was part of a “throuple” relationship with a man and his wife.

Sex crimes detectives with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office have arrested 38-year-old Tammy Renia Schreiner and 36-year-old Jill Cox, both of Fresno. The two women have been booked into the Fresno County Jail on felony charges for conspiracy of ongoing sexual abuse of a child. Schreiner also faces a misdemeanor charge of intimidating or dissuading a victim. Each woman has a bail amount of $265,000.

On February 4th, detectives served a search warrant at a home on the 1400 block of E. Princeton Ave. in Fresno. There they took Tammy Schreiner and Jill Cox into custody. Schreiner is the girlfriend of Brent Cox and Jill is his wife. The three of them had an open relationship agreement (a.k.a. throuple) and were living together at this house. Earlier in the week, detectives rescued the child, removing her from the suspects’ custody and putting her into a safe place.

On February 3rd, detectives arrested Brent Cox as part of an investigation that began on January 22nd. Our office received information of Brent Cox committing sexual acts with a child; the daughter of a woman (Tammy Schreiner) he is dating.

The investigation revealed Cox had been in a prolonged relationship with the 12-year-old victim, grooming her so he could take advantage of her sexually. Detectives found evidence confirming multiple sexual acts had taken place over the course of several months. A further investigation showed Jill Cox and Schreiner were complicit in acts between Brent Cox and the young girl, so they too were arrested.
Brent Cox is currently in the Fresno County Jail and faces multiple felony charges related to sexual assault of a minor and intimidating or dissuading a victim. He is not eligible for bail.
