Columbus drive-by shooters’ stray bullet strikes man in his home in back

COLUMBUS, OH – On February 13, 2021, at approximately 6:20 a.m., officers were dispatched to the area of 1531 Tracy Circle on the report of gunshots being fired in the area. Upon arrival officers located Mohamed Dayo who was shot one time in the back when a bullet traveled through the wall of his residence and struck him. A second residence at 1563 StimmelRoad was struck with no injuries. Witnesses interviewed at the scene stated a red SUV was traveling through the area and one of the passengers was hanging out of a window firing gunshots at an unidentified individual.
