Philadelphia police seeking North Broad Street shooting suspect

PHILADELPHIA, PA –  Philadelphia police are seeking to identify the suspect in a shooting incident on Broad Street.

According to police, on March 9th, 2021, at approximately 1:52 pm, an unknown male suspect operating a Chrysler 300 parked on the southside of 5600 N. Broad Street. The male suspect exits the vehicle and engages another unknown male who was walking on Broad Street in a short conversation which turns into a physical altercation.

The driver /suspect of the Silver Chrysler 300 eventually pulls a firearm from his waistband and fires several shots at the fleeing male. The suspect shot the rear window of the Chrysler 300 and was then observed fleeing southbound on Broad Street. The vehicle was located unoccupied and currently in police custody.
