What should I bet? LSU vs. Michigan March Madness Preview

Shore News Network

Monday March 22, 2021: (8) LSU vs. (1) Michigan

LSU has been playing well, winning 5 of their last 6 games.  Their only loss during that stretch was a one-point loss to Alabama. The Tigers are 7th in the nation in average scoring, picking up 81.9 ppg; although they started slowly in their win over St. Bonaventure-missing 10 of their first 11 shots from the floor.

LSU will need strong scoring again from Cameron Thomas who picked up 27 points against St. Bonaventure.  LSU finished with a strong rebounding advantage 49-30 in that game.

Michigan has been lukewarm, going just 3-3 in their last 6 games. Michigan did shoot 48% in their win over Texas Southern, finishing with 4 starters scoring in double-figures. Michigan led by as many as 22 with 8 min. to go, but let Texas Southern get it down to a 12-point lead with 3:42 left, and Southern got the point spread cover. Michigan was solid once again in three-point shooting defense, allowing Texas Southern to shoot only 1-for-12 from downtown.

Michigan will have to fight on without their star forward Isaiah Livers, who will miss the tournament due to a stress fracture in his right foot.   Get this Big Winner by calling 888-WIN-7000 and use your Free security code 404.
