Gas prices top $3 per gallon in Toms River

TOMS RIVER, NJ – They said it was bound to happen and it did. Gas prices in Toms River today hit the $3 per gallon mark for regular unleaded gasoline.

According to Gas Buddy, a website that tracks real-time gasoline prices, most stations in the town are now charging between $2.99 and $3.03 per gallon.

WaWa at 1165 Fischer Boulevard checked in at $2.95. Shell at 1299 Hooper Avenue was $2.93.
