There are four PAC-12 teams remaining alive in the tournament, and one of them will be automatically eliminated by this matchup. Oregon  finished first in the conference standings with a 14-4 record, and USC was just percentage points behind them with a 15-5 record.


The Oregon Ducks have covered 6 of their last 7 point spreads, are will be getting small points here.  Oregon has only played one game to get to the  Sweet 16, as they advanced by default with Virginia Commonwealth being knocked out by COVID.  Not having a warmup game didn’t stop Oregon from beating the 2nd-seeded Iowa Hawkeyes by 15 points. The USC Trojans showed their toughness after beating Drake by 16 and then Kansas by 34, holding both teams to under 60 points. In the Kansas game, USC shot an insane 11-of-18 from 3-point range (61%).   

USC hosted Oregon on Feb. 22nd and won convincingly.  The Trojans got out to a 15-0 lead in the first five minutes, on their way to a 72-58 win over the Ducks.
