Cars shot at in Portland

PORTLAND – On March 26, 2021 at 11:25p.m., North Precinct officers were dispatched to a report of shots heard in the area of North Williams Avenue and North Monroe Street. When they arrived they located a white Dodge Magnum vehicle crashed into three unoccupied, parked vehicles. They also located evidence of gunfire. Bullet strikes were apparent in the Dodge, as well as two other parked vehicles (photos). A business was also struck by gunfire. The evidence suggests that at least 26 shots were fired.

The driver of the Dodge was located nearby. The adult female was physically unhurt.

It’s not clear why the Dodge was apparently targeted. Follow-up investigation will be done by the Enhanced Community Safety Team (ECST). No arrests have been made.
