ANNE ARUNDEL, MD – An Anne Arundel County woman found a $50,000 Powerball win close to home last month.

The 60-year-old bought her $10 ticket at Lucky’s Superette in Odenton a few days before the March 24 drawing, playing five sets of her own lucky numbers to bring home the big win. One line matched four numbers — 4, 9, 17, 27 — and the Powerball, which was 18. Our Powerball player became the only Marylander to win the $50,000 prize in that drawing and one of 25 players nationwide to do so.

The jackpot, which remained out of her reach, is set for an estimated $55 million in the Saturday, April 10 drawing, with a cash option of $37.5 million. Players can try their luck at her winning retailer, Lucky’s Superette located at 1101 Odenton Road in Odenton, or other Lottery retailers and automatically enjoy The Spring Fling. This promotion is for players who buy any game other than scratch-offs. Buy a ticket now through May 2 and you automatically get a chance to win a free FAST PLAY ticket.
