Columbus bar fight turned into a gunfight with two shot

COLUMBUS, OH – On Saturday, at 2:07am, two shooting victims were found outside of a bar at 5999 E. Livingston Ave when a fight broke out.

One of the victims went to his car and retrieved a firearm and fired one shot up into the air to break up the fight.

As that victim and another were getting into their vehicle to leave when an unknown suspect fired gunshots at them from behind the building. One of them was grazed in the top of the head by a bullet and the other was grazed in the right leg. The victims left the scene in their vehicle and crashed a few blocks away due to the driver’s.


The driver was transported to a local hospital in stable condition. The other victim refused medical attention at scene. Both victims are expected to survive their injuries.
