Brooklyn Center Game Stop Looted after Police Shoot and Kill Duante Wright

BROOKLYN CENTER, MN – Riots are once again on the agenda in Brooklyn Center, a suburb of Minneapolis after police shot a man who fled a traffic stop killing him. Duante Wright may not be a household name today, but he will be the catalyst for the next wave of anti-police and Black Lives Matter riots after he was shot and killed in an apparent excessive force incident.

Riots that fight injustice by looting the local Game Stop retail store. Wright, 20, was shot and killed after he fled from a traffic stop. Police learned Wright had an outstanding warrant and were preparing to make an arrest. As he sped away, shots were fired, striking him.

Others mourned the loss of a young member of their community by looting the local Game Stop store. Later in the evening, protesters gathered and police used flashbangs and tear gas to disperse the crowd.
